After a cancer diagnosis at 19 & years of treatments & surgeries that followed, I've spent more than half my life in the role of "patient". Because of this, I deeply understand the importance of compassion & consent in care, the power of a strong support system & the need for bodily autonomy. I hold firm in the belief that we are the experts in ourselves.

I am a queer, pro-abortion doula trained in trauma informed care with an emphasis on harm reduction who believes birth support is for all bodies & all types of families. Everyone deserves non-judgmental support & the evidence-informed knowledge to make their own choices on their road to parenthood. There are so many ways to become a parent, give birth, feed your baby or feel & all of them are valid & deserve to be respected.
